Diamond and CBN Grinding Wheels

Several diamond wheels for grinding carbide tools are available.  CBN grinding wheels (standard with automatic infeed) reduce dressing and are stocked in many types.  Special wheels can be made in different sizes and forms (angles, radii).  Request a quotation.

Strip and replate service is available for all of our plated wheels.

P/N DH02 CBN Dish Wheel for endmill end and O.D. grinding. 1/8" CBN depth, 6" diameter

P/N DH03 Diamond Dish Wheel for carbide endmill end and O.D. grinding. 1/8" Diamond depth, 6" diameter

P/N DW34 Diamond Wheel - ¾" wide, 1/8" diamond depth, 6" diameter

P/N DW12 Diamond Wheel - ½" wide, 1/8" diamond depth, 6" diameter

P/N BW12 CBN Resin-Bonded Wheel - ½" wide, 1/8" CBN depth, 6"  diameter

P/N BP01 CBN Electroplated Wheel - 1-1/8" wide, 6" diameter. For point grinding and point splitting.  Electroplated CBN wheel eliminates wheel dressing.  Wheel can be refurbished.

P/N BP02 Replacement CBN Electroplated Wheel for Model 380S and 382S with automatic infeed.    2" wide, 7" diameter.  Wheel can be refurbished.

P/N BP12 Replacement CBN Electroplated Wheel for Model 250AS and 252S with automatic infeed.    1 ½" wide, 7" diameter.  Wheel can be refurbished.

Note: Other wheels for special applications are available, including electroplated CBN and diamond wheels, which can be made with special angles or radii and do not require redressing to hold the form. Request quotation.

"Easy Dress" for dressing the O.D. of grinding wheels. Simple one hand operation. Includes diamond (standard DN01). 

The "Easy Dress" optional fixture is a real time-saver.  It is rigidly mounted on the grinding spindle housing and allows the wheel to be dressed in a few seconds, without interrupting the grinding setup.  It has a simple, one-hand operation and detented "click" downfeed in .001" increments.  Some of the features of its construction are:

With bubble level.  Balancing the grinding wheel and hub assembly reduces vibration for a superior finish.  Includes balancing arbor.  Can accommodate wheel/hub assemblies to 3-1/2" wide and 10" diameter.

P/N WB01 Balancer with taper mounting arbor.  (All Models 132A/C, 382, and Model 250A, 252, 380 with taper nose spindle only).
