Diamond/CBN Wheel Truing & Dressing Machine

 

The FC-250W and FC-700W diamond/CBN wheel truing and dressing machines are designed for truing and dressing of flats, angles, and radii on diamond and CBN single wheels and multiple wheel packs.

 Use of the Model FC-250W allows for increased efficiency and accuracy by dressing wheels properly - offline of the production grinding machinery.   The machine is simple to operate, highly accurate and cost effective.         

The FC-250W is equipped with ExVision - a software program specifically designed for the FC-250W and its various applications.  ExVision is user friendly, with unique features such as custom menus of standard wheel shapes and a customized system for drawing lines, arcs, and shapes.  This system is easy to use for those not familiar with CAD functions.

The customized video software platform makes high-tolerance truing and dressing easier than ever before.  In addition to the auto-zoom capabilities, this system allows magnification levels from 15x to 60x standard; and, an optional high magnification system that allows from 30x to 120x - giving the benefit of true continuous in-process optical inspection while you work.

Design Features:

            · Heavy duty construction with one-piece cast iron base.

            · Cross table incorporates precision linear slides and ball screws for accuracy and long life.

· Variable speed 1.5 KW  motor with quick-change HSK 50 spindle or customer specified spindle and adapters are available to suit all CNC grinding machines.

· Swiveling dressing unit can be used manual or automatic (optional).

· Machine can be provided with a dust-collection system (optional).

· Heavy duty rotary table pivots with two pairs of precision angular contact bearings.

· Variable-speed dressing wheel and the oscillation is adjustable in position, stroke and frequency.

· ExVision system allows for easy setup and for measuring wheel diameter, width, position, and inspection during or after dressing.
